EDIT: Edited my post to indicate that I am fighting Ravana, NOT Fortuna, as I had initially implied. Hat tip to Sepher for catching my mistake!
EDIT 2: Removed Sig's counter attack. I will be taking no further action until I see what Ravana does next.

What happens first? Siron makes a decision about Azazel, before he comments on Blood and Fortuna fighting or after he comments? I assume after, but I wanted to be sure.

@Siron: Your discussion with Aeliana is happening simultaneous to their fight and ends with Punisher's insistence that you all depart. If you want to comment on the fight, you can do that first. I wanted to give Siron ample time in character to make his decision.

@Archdemon Stu: Catujel is basically using an exceedingly high Charisma ability to cloud Fjorin's judgment. It basically has the effect of a spell and can only be resisted by a feat of Willpower, or the attribute by the same name. Give me an awesome post to describe how Fjorin's mental strength could break the hold, and we'll see if he can shake off the effects.
@Radobe: Give me a bit of time and I'll give you the stats for the sword.

Anything before the line is failure, anything afterward is "success." I put quotations due to the fact he's not actually resisting it fully if he succeeds due to lack of Willpower, just channeling it. :P
And if he's successful, he does intend to promptly disable (legs, arms, etc.) and then silence him (taking the jaw, tongue, teeth, etc.). Thought I'd address just in case of time lapse.

Due to recent bouts of inactivity, I have made an executive decision: I will be posting every Tuesday afternoon. If you do not post for your character, I will be god-modding you. Understandably, life happens, but in the interest of keeping things going for our active users, I want to ensure there are not large lulls between posts. I've been trying to just wait until everyone posts, but it seems like it just keeps the active users twiddling their thumbs while we wait. Thanks in advance! My next post will go up Tuesday, so please post by then.

I don't really know if I am allowed to change how he felt about it, so i wanted to send Faidth a pm about it, but i couldn't in the morning and went ahead and posted, since I could change it even after i post. The exchange between the Valkyries leader and Siron seemed so erotic :o. Or imaybe it was just me. Forget about Siron, I felt embraced just trying to respond ;D. Any way, say if it is not ok to alter it the way I did, I will change it appropriately.

@Radobe: It is completely okay that Siron has a Valkyrie fetish. If your characters have strong reactions to npcs, that just means there is a strong likelihood they will turn up again. Bittersweet as that would be. Poor Valkyries; always the bearers of bad news. They show up and someone is either dead or going to die. :\

Sorry for the delay. I have a stack of essays and quizzes a mile high (that's scarcely an exaggeration) so I needed to do some grading. Expect a post today, tomorrow at the latest.
In addition, I have a plot question for you: In the spirit of disclosure, Fenwick was a huge part of the Marrow story arc. You can continue with the mission as planned and I will adjust accordingly, or you may head back to Avalon. Choice 1 yields lots more combat and mystery, Choice 2 is more plot driven and will lead to the pursuit of your old friend Bayard Cael.
Thoughts?

I would personally choose choice 1. Though if I was Siron I would go for choice 2! :D

While Aeliana really has no idea what is going on, she NEEDS to figure out a way to get the to marrow regardless, as she gave her word to Azazel, and she will not break her word. :)

Sembas has been looking at me like a puppy that has a live squirming squirrel in its mouth and doesn't know what to do with it.
He certainly doesn't trust Coward such that we could take him with us into The Marrow. And it wouldn't feel right that he would just leave Dennan or Blood to deal with him. Even though their truce is out of necessity on Coward's part, he and Sembas do have an agreement that the falconer would like to follow through with.
So, as much as I would like to continue the current mission and see what is in store with The Marrow, Sembas would prefer option number 2.
In the end it is your call :)

Hm, I suppose it would be hard to justify staying in such a dangerous place with 3 new people in the group. At the same time though, whatever thing they were trying to conjure up in this place sounds like it probably shouldn't be left alone.
Yeah, I'd like to change my answer to "on the fence." Fjorin himself would like to see things through since he's kind of married to the fields 'o' battle, but as a player, I don't mind which.

Aeliana has no idea what you guys are doing or were going to do, so she'd be just fine with going back. XD Plus... she is wearing a dress pretty much made out of dried blood now, so yeah.

Better late than never! Sincerest apologies for the delay! I've been very indisposed with my teaching duties as of late (we're getting close to the end of the marking period.)
I know Siron is likely itching to get into combat, but I have a reason for sending him back to Avalon. ;)
Any parting words should or further dialogue can be expounded upon. My next post will send the Marrow group on their way, and the Avalon-bound party to the gates.

I'll get up a post as soon as I can. School has been very hectic (and time consuming.) In addition, splitting the party like this is very micromanaging intensive, but was a necessary evil for the story.

Alright, I'm officially the owner of a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts and Animation! Though I have a whole new mess of things to deal with, I am now capable of posting.
If I don't get to posting before the update, don't worry about lil' ol' me. Fjorin will just be doing introvert things anyway. Having his head twisted around like that can make a guy need some time to himself.

Not sure where everyone else is, but my internet has been shit. I've had to work from the office this week and it's really killed any time I have to post. I'm off today and tomorrow though, so I'll do my best to get a reply up during the times that my internet is working.

With Kitharsis's recent announcement, we will be continuing on. The delay was unfortunate, but I really didn't want to continue without everyone replying to the last post, and truth be told, I absolutely hate god-modding for other people. No one can do justice to your characters except you.
@Fjorin: You are pretty much the whole Marrow Party at this point. :p
@Sig, Siron, and Aeliana: My next post will be for you. Had I known we would be losing Sembas, I would have split the party more evenly. We'll get you back to the Marrow as soon as we can.

@Sepher: I chose to leave off with Hestia in case there is anything you might like to discuss with her. Aeliana, taking pride in her healing arts, would know very well who Hestia Hearth is (by reputation, not by previous meeting.) Hestia is the most skilled healer in all of Avalon.

So I'm going to ask a couple tactical questions. How big are the earthy walls around Lai? To clarify, I'm thinking of using Fjorin's pretty new sword to crush the leeches under the weight of the stones (if it can do that... haha, still figuring this baby out).
And more importantly, are we still trudging through blood, and is that acid blood spreading throughout?

The walls are close to six feet (high and wide enough to block her from the leeches.) As for your proposed mood, give it a whirl and if edits are needed, I'll just let you know. Still trudging through bloody swamps; the acid is only really damaging if it touches you or your gear. It's harmless once it hits the blood in the swamp, so it won't spread.

Sorry for the lack of content in my writing. I am having a difficult time writing to begin with, but when it comes to writing about Siron's feelings and don't even know where to begin.

Just to clarify, although I did trigger the use of Sig's intimidate ability in my post, I am not trying to actually intimidate Fury. That would be silly. I'm just using that ability to justify why Sig would suddenly be able to channel the voice of the All-Father like that. Let me know if that's taking it too far and I'll edit and dial it back.

After a great deal of consideration, I have opted to place The Legion Immortalis: The Bulwark of Heaven BB on indefinite hiatus. Several factors have brought me to this decision, and are not limited to a myriad of personal obligations. I took a new teaching position and have a great deal to prepare for the coming school year. Even though I'm on summer break right now, a lot of my time is being taken by teaching Summer School.
In addition, I have been having a very difficult time writing for this BB. The departure of two of the original members of the BB, john_greymore and Kitharsis, left enormous holes in my plans, which have become very difficult to work around. As such, my motivation to write this story has suffered considerably, and rather than drag it out as it limps along, I don't want to continue this story until I can give it my full attention, and the development it deserves.
