I do try to keep in character. From the beginning I wanted him to be straight forward and full of conviction in just about anything he does. I am glad you are enjoying it as much as I do!

I definitely think you nailed the character concept! I can't wait until Blood (likely begrudgingly) learns to like him. I think the reason his idealism frustrates her so much is, believe it or not, though she was always rather grim, she sees a bit of herself in his unrelenting optimism.

Now that I think about it, immortals can only be killed by other immortals right? Was Aeliana an immortal before the fight with the forsaken? She did kill one of them.
