That should be my last post of the Ascent Into Madness chapter. When I post again, the final chapter will start.

I god-modded Sepher since Daccio is 2 weeks idle.

Hey Jharm, just want to be sure I understood your post correctly: a small group of Seraphim are joining us as we enter the Spire, but most of the angelic forces are remaining outside to help the three Elementals hold the entrance?

The majority of Jharm's forces are headed into the city to help the Marines fight off the reinforcements. I am unsure if any of them are staying with the Elementals or not. The majority of the Grey Knights are holding position with the Elementals, with only the 1st Company Terminators joining the Strike Team.

Jharm, if I missed anything, feel free to clarify.

Pretty much like 70% went to the city, 20% is remaining outside the spire and like 10% is following us in. All 3 groups consist of the different forces I described in the post when they showed up though of course the Colossi are with the city and spire defense groups (as I realized that unless the areas inside the spire we are going through are really cavernous the Colossi would likely not fit very well lol).

I am not going to have time to get a post up this weekend. I'll try to have something by Monday or Tuesday.

More coming once Gulgrim opens the gate. Feel free to post in the meantime. Jharm, you can go ahead and post some details of what your forces are doing in the city and the courtyard. Feel free to god-mod any Chaos forces you're fighting in the city.

I assume that since you asked Gulgrim to open it that there isn't a whole lot stopping him from just blasting it down, but I do like to give at least a little bit of respect to our opponents. He's ripped open a massive hole rather than just knocking the giant doors from their hinges.

A reminder: if you have any questions regarding the idle status of a Board Battle or any complaints or comments regarding pacing or delays, please contact Hanako via PM. Do not spam the OOC thread with unnecessary posts.

I am working on a post and should hopefully have it up in the next few days.

I'm still working on a post. This week has been crazy, and work locked down my access to the Administorum again. I will have a post up before Christmas.

With my transportation nightmare dealt with, I should have more time to post again.

There is a dramatically appropriate number of Marines, so feel free to kill some off. Just keep in mind that these Marines are basically fleshless constructs bound by incredibly powerful magic, so they are not nearly as easy to kill as normal Marines. Try not to kill swaths of them at once and expect me to post counter-attacks against you that you'll need to take seriously. Also, the chaos fire they're shooting is pure chaos energy, so it can't be controlled like normal fire, and their swords are coated with the same energy, so they will cut through normal armor.

Any questions, let me know.

Heads up. I'm aiming to have a post up by the end of the week. I'm going to start working on it tomorrow, which is the same day that everyone except Jharm and Daccio are set to go idle. I'll be posting it the moment it's done. Anyone who hasn't replied by then or at least posted an OOC telling me why you haven't posted yet will be god-modded.

Did a little bit of play with the tabletop mechanics of a rubric marine in my post. 4-up invulnerable saves but only 1 wound implies that they can take a single lethal strike pretty easy, but if you put too many holes in them then their soul can't be contained in the armor, and they die. Gulgrim takes that to mean that he should just shoot them full of holes.

I managed to get some work done on a post, but my timetable has slipped a bit due to plans this weekend. Should hopefully have something no later than Tuesday. Maybe some more people will have posted by then.
