Ok, Westward is officially started. You guys can arrive at Brimstone however you would like (Shadow I would assume you will be arriving by bike obviously) Radobe you have multiple options; foot, horse, carriage, or by the Tram. You can wander around Brimstone if you would like but by the end of your post I would like you to be arriving at the Rusty Tankard and speaking with the barkeep.

well it looks like i didnt really mention any specific time its at right now other then I mentioned evening in my post responding to shadow so its currently evening. That reminds me. I need to make a post about the seasons/etc for Westward.

Ok here is another chance for some possible RP...feel free to have your characters speak to each other. Note that while neither of you are directly aware that you are both here for the same thing....the fact that Sebastian just placed down a letter with the same seal would possibly be an indicator of something. This will be the last chance you have at conversing with the people within the tavern or doing anything in the prefect.

Ok, gunna god-mod Sebastian slightly per Radobe's request due to a hectic work week. Gunna be moving down towards Yewanrey, maybe a little further depending on the size of the post amongst other things. Combat will be occuring relatively soon I promise ;)

Ok the group is facing a small raider party (5-6) hiding in the rocks and boulders along the side of the trail. These guys will be god-moddable but keep in mind your character stats :)

Glad to hear it Sepher. Depending on how soon you post a concept and depending where the group is at at the time will kinda determine how fast you get added into the story. Ok time to fill in the Marshal on what you learned. Will you tell him everything, or will you attempt to only reveal some parts. Will he (and the other Marshal for that matter) believe any of it? Once I get someone posting telling him whats going on I guess we will see :) . Radobe feel free to make a post with what your character is doing since at the moment he has wandered off on his own towards the tavern.

Ok.....Shadow has fulfilled the "requirement" for another post....I will probably be looking at posting tomorrow night....if I do not I will be unable to post a reply until like thursday evening sometime (going out of town weds. morning until thursday). Right now if no one else responds before my post I will be looking at potentially going with the "if I dont post anything XYZ simply follows along". Radobe if you dont post anything I may look at godmodding you simply to move the plot along, Im sure you guys are kinda tired of the persistent chatting and want some action lol.

Hm... I am done with a post that has Sebastian remove his gear and use his unknown appearance as a cover to check out how things are going to go down at the city hall. Waiting for an opportunity to try and do something his way, if things look to be going sour. But if you are going to move on with things, then I think it will be better if the Jagger stays out of it and spends the rest of next post in the bar.

Ok...looking at reforming the group via peoples posts and then departing from the Fort. Radobe...I believe you showed a desire to utilize his unknown physical apperance to allow for more backstory for Sebastian. The oppertunity will be getting made available in my next post once we regroup at the undertakers.

Seth's gonna wait outside with his bike. This shouldn't be surprising to anybody, except maybe Enoka, who's never seen the bike before, so he'll wait for the group to head out and follow along.

Ok, new post up (yep...finally) and here's how things are going to work. I didnt want to try and make up reactions for Enoka and Sebastian so please feel free to post actual responses in your respective posts for the areas flagged in my post (though of course both should end by giving the....."needed" response), this is something I would like to avoid doing but as Southridge kinda dragged out longer then I originally intended I didnt want to hold things up longer waiting for "actual" responses from people (and as both people reflected ok at the slight god-mods in skype) I went with the "quicker" option. Now in regards to the gunfight you guys find yourselves in. You are in fact facing 7 men (at this point you can't tell if they might be ferals like Jerrick or bandits, or what) and the man who started the fight. As this is the second combat and im sure you guys have itchy trigger fingers (well...except for Enoka since she doesnt use guns lol) the 7 men are god-moddable but any attacks made against "Bowler man" are NOT god-moddable and will be resolved by my next post.

I am sorry for my huge delay, had an epic issue at work. We have a lot of work out of the club and this doesn't leave me free time to write. The start of the season is nearly over and I should be able to post at very least once per week. Sorry for the inconvenience. :'(
EDIT: Also I will write down an addition to Sebastian's background. I will give her real name there and how it all came to be. I have it all figured out, need to sit down and write it.

Ok....another battle for you guys. Ok here is how it is going to go. There are about 15 men on the walls right now, 6 of them (including Josper) seem to intentionally be missing the party members. You guys have free reign here....though some things to keep in mind. A) If you have any of your attacks hit a "friendly" please mention it b) if you do kill the "friendlys" remember what Jerrick said to the group before. Also keep in mind these men are above you behind a wall (though said wall is not a picture of masterful engineering....they are ferals afterall....think ramshackle "fallouty" type wall). The wall stands about 10 feet high and is scalable....if you can manage to reach it without getting perforated.

Ok....boss fight time! For those of you near the mech, this fight is NOT god-moddable. The mech is (as described in the post) about 8-8 1/2 ft tall and is armor plated. Radobe, you are on your own sort of. You have found the package you came for, but you now hear the "entrance" of the mech (though since you are in the tent and on the other side of the camp....you won't really know what the rest of the group is facing.

Due to the length of time since i posted last, the loss of data, and my crappy memory pretty much leading me to not having any idea anything that was done via "lost posts" we are pretty much disregarding them and moving on. I will wait a week approx. for people to respond (as I know sepher in RL and shadow has already updated Shadowhaunt the only player that is in "unsure" status as to if they are still around is Radobe). We are drawing near the end of this specific story arc and I will likely be ending the story at that point and if people are interested in continuing make a "new" battle for the next arc.

Ok first off sorry for the lengthy lack of postage. Here is where everyone is at, Enoka/Seb are near the main gate and have semi-free reign of the camp. While Jerrick has offered sleeping quarters, it is still a feral camp and you can safely assume they will not like you nosing around or causing trouble. Seth is at the busted up mech and has been approached by the previous owner of said mech. There is another nod towards your heritage in there btw Seth (a familiar name was mentioned).

I noticed. And I recalled Gizmoid's comment as Seth left. I can't help but feel that those two know a bit more about Seth's family than they let on.

Well, just want to post this update in regards to the story. I have been distracted by other stuff and this week in general has been kind of crazy (working odd hours and called in to work on day off) I apologize to the "players" for my lack of response. I MAY be off tomorrow (gotta speak with my boss in the morning to find out for sure) and if I am I will honestly try to have a post up around evening time Sunday EST. If I do work I will try my best to have a response ASAP. I know I have been kinda negligent about response time on this thread and I'm sorry for that. We are drawing near the "official" end of this story-arc though I do have ideas for a few arcs afterward but we will cover that when the time comes hehe :).

I would like to apologize to those of you who participate in this board battle. Almost 2 months is a little ridiculous for me to make a post and I wish I had an excuse as to why but in all reality I don't. Procrastination is what it comes down to. We are drawing near to the end of this story though. Likely once Shadow responds to my recent post we will move into the next "general" post and move this thing along.

Ok, I know my last post didn't exactly advance the plot much at all. Figured I would make a post to "tie up loose ends" with everything people were doing and then make another post (at this point later today) actually advancing the plot. In the meantime feel free to post any "filler" actions you want (Enoka possibly responding to Sebastian....Seth responding to Chester etc) which will also allow me to see how many people are actually still around. Regardless of responses I intend to post. We are close to the end of this "story arc" and at that point I will likely put up a poll to see if people want to continue (or potentially anyone else wants to join in, etc).

Was hoping to get better after this last hiatus but due to my busy work schedule (yay for 6 day work weeks....) and some personal stuff that has been keeping me down I obviously have not succeeded at that. well finally a chance for you guys to get some action in :) The group is currently stuck in a bottleneck, rocky walls approx 7-8 ft high with (as far as they can tell) approx. 6 men hiding behind rocks in front of them (approx 20-30 feet across semi-rocky terrain) , though as Vil mentioned, that number is possibly inaccurate. Vildayvin has managed to climb up the wall and position himself behind some rocks and is giving covering fire for the others. I have been contacted by Radobe and they will be "rejoining" the battle.

Ok, 3 down and 3 to go. The injured arm one is targetting enoka and the gut injured one is targetting Sebastian. The third one is bolting away from battle, Seth is the only one that could possibly catch him should he choose, or move in to assist with the other two bandits. The two injured bandits are god-moddable (let me see at least a little RP'ing though hehe) but the escaping one is not.

I apologize....due to well...me being dumb, I had totally thought I was waiting on Radobe to post and then realize "wait a minute....they were the FIRST to respond to my previous post..../facepalm". Alrighty, for Sebastian and Enoka you have two options. You can do as Vil suggested and search the corpses to see if you find anything and then move to follow Vil...or simply follow Vil. Regardless neither of you will reach Seth in time to do anything about the bandit (they are quite a distance away)
Seth currently has the mortally wounded bandit kneeling in front of him. While he is gripping the pistol, its in his off-hand and completely out of firing position. You have free reign as to what you want to do with him. Question him....kill him....completely ignore him *shrug* the second two you can handle yourself, the questions simply speak em and I will make a post handling the response :D

I did note that I would shoot his hand if he reached for his gun again Jharm, don't know if that changes his post at all. If it doesn't, I'll get a post up soon.

Alrighty, post is up. There are countless (distance and cover makes it hard/almost impossible to determine how many) gunmen positioned up on a hill overlooking your position. Long-range weaponry can reach them but pistols/etc would not. None of the enemy is god-moddable.

As I mentioned in Shadowhaunt, I started a new job this week, so I've been a bit distracted. Aside from that, I'm going to wait for at least one other person to post before I do, because it may affect my actions in my next post.

Alrighty, I have gotten notice that both Radobe and Daccio have hit stage 2 so I am able to god-mod them, however as that leaves only Shadow who has stated they are waiting for someone else to post, I am temporarily holding off on making any kind of post. I will be getting with Daccio to try and get at least them to make a post asap.

Alrighty, I do apologize but here is update #2: Still no sign from Radobe and thus at this point they have until Shadow/Daccio post or else I will be god modding them. Daccio is quite busy with RL stuff but i believe it sounds like they should have more time available after this week and so the "waiting game" continues. Shadow if you decide to go ahead and post before that thats fine, at that stage depending on your actions I may try to at least get some sort of post up for you.

Okay, I want to sort of apologize as this really wasnt that much of an "advancement" post, but especially with the differing attitudes of the party I really didnt want to "force" anyone to move onto the platform. That being said it IS pretty much the only option at this point but of course how everyone reacts to it is entirely up to them. With that being said as I will try my best to keep in mind if anyone takes too long to respond and likely do a semi "god-mod" to move things along (lets face it....it took my slow ass how long to get this post up....not gunna have people wait 3-4 weeks for someone to post something along the lines of "I move onto the platform" though I would REALLY prefer they do as part of me would LOVE to see how each member responds to pretty much a stranger dropping from above to haul their ass out of the fire and up into who knows what hehe).

Alrighty, I do apologize about that. I had attempted to post yesterday after i got home from work but was having some sort of connection issue and apparently when i submitted the post it did NOT go through. Also though I had posted here in regards to the post.
Okay, everyone has pretty much free will on what they want to do here. Figured I would give you guys a little bit of unwinding time before we reach the end of the story arch. Yes...in case you missed it YES I have pretty much slipped Serenity and the crew of her (from Firefly) into Westward :)

Pretty self-explanatory here, everyone is still free to pretty much do what they want. Radobe, just did a simple god mod to move you off the lift. At this point, depending on what everyone does, I may respond to posts individually as once people finish up anything they want to do, the ship will be arriving in Yewanrey and this story arc will be at the finale (well...perhaps at this point you could say the surprise end scene after the credits? lol)

Looking at trying to get a post up as soon as possible. Unfortunately beginning of this week I somehow managed to tweak my back something awful and as of today I am almost certain I am coming down with some variation of a cold. TL;DR......Sunday or Monday probably.

Alrighty, and a post is a go. Like I have said before at this stage of the game there are no planned major conflicts or anything of that nature. The official story is complete. Seth and Enoka are free to pretty much do as they please (though keep in mind, my previous statement does NOT give you carte blanche to cause trouble lol). I intend to keep this running as long as the respective parties are interested as with EoT slowly reaching its end and it's next story arc still up in the air I do NOT want to look into starting another story arc or anything until that decision is final and confirmed. Therefore: if either and/or both of you feel like having a big ol' gabfest with any of the crew please feel free to. Radobe and Enoka I know seemed to be developing some in-character stuff there so if Radobe returns please feel free to continue with that. Once the players either state they are finished (or Epic BB continuation is decided) I will end this story arc and we will proceed from there.

Okay....not sure why the board battle itself got flagged as idle as I was the last to post in it but at this point its not too important. At this point Radobe is MIA (considered abandoned at this stage) and both Shadow Chorus and Daccio have not responded (yes, I know you mentioned you were going to post this weekend Daccio but bear with me) I think that's an indication to move to the end. I will be trying to get up a post asap (either tomorrow (Monday) or tuesday possible before work) and bring this story to its conclusion.

Also, with EoT reaching the veritable end I am trying to account for the possibility of me running the next epic story and if so I am unsure if I want to also be handling Westward at the same time. We will cross that metaphorical bridge though when the time comes. I would like to thank the participants for well....participating and hope you all enjoyed it.

Since Westward is officially going on hiatus, I am going to close down the character creation section and move everything to the Retirement Home. I'll leave the main thread and OOC thread where they are until Jharm closes them.
