For the purposes of making a title screen for To the Bitter End, I need to get a GOOD artist to volunteer to draw/paint me a title screen.
I advertised on the non-paid job listings section of Conceptart.org (which is a great site) and got a bunch of good replies. I had to settle for just one of them in the end, and picked a guy called Tom Hering, whose art style I liked (see my avatar).
Unfortunately though he had to drop the project becuase he had to get himself two real (non-drawing-related) jobs so as not to descend into poverty. Now I don't have an artist. I've advertised again but haven't had many replies. I also e-mailed Chris Oldman (another guy who volunteered earlier) but he hasn't replied.
I'd really like to have more choice of artist available, but my choices are really limited right now. So does anyone know a good 2D artist willing to make a title screen for me? It's not a rushed or urgent job, but I really would like it to look at least semi-professional.
Any ideas where I can find one? I'm kind of at my wits end here on what to do...

Say Clutch, mind following up with the artist?
The last time I heard from her was more than 3 weeks ago, and she hasn't replied to any of my e-mails after the first.
While I'm not in a big hurry with this, I would at least like her to reply to my e-mails when I send something (even if the reply is a quick "sorry, haven't had a chance to look at it yet", it's better than dead silence)

I actually spoke to her in person, Soul. She says she did email you, but apparently you never got it. Might want to check your spam folders. In the meantime, I asked her to send you another email updating you on the progress, and she's supposed to CC me on this one, so I'll know if she sent it or not.

Damn. I cleared my spam folder this morning. I tend to check it first anyway, but I might have missed it.
Is she using my 'meet soul reaver' e-mail address or another one?

She's using whatever address you used to contact her initially. Without checking to make sure, I believe it was meet_soul_reaver.

Yeah, that was the one I used. I got her first e-mail there too, no problems - just no subsequent ones. Wonder why it's not working anymore?
Anyway, please let me know if you get one as a CC from her, and I'll be sure not to clean out my junk mail anymore in the meantime so I definitely won't miss anything.

Sent off another e-mail, and CCed your clutchfiend at gmail account into it. Let me know if you got that message, I want to be sure these are sending out how they should.
