The Adversary

In the beginning, there were two forces simply known as The Divine and The Adversary. As of now, you know VERY little about the Adversary, except that it was the first true evil. This may warrant further investigation.

Severan Deceit

Mortal Name: ?
Titles: ?

Hair:
Eyes:
Height:
Weight:
Physical Age:
Actual Age:

Severan Deceit is the leader of the Forsaken, and is a former Ageless. He and his followers are in a constant state of war with the Ageless. While the Ageless attempt to protect humanity, the Forsaken seek to destroy it. Cleo mentioned that Severan became an elder after slaughtering the Elder Council.

Perhaps it is best to learn as much about this enemy as possible. A good source of information may be one of the Elder Ageless.

Carnis

Carnis

A Carnis is a being created by the Adversary himself. They are masters of deception and prey upon a sense of sympathy in its victims. Often, animals can see through the disguise of a Carnis. As spirits of sort, Carnis do not have their own physical bodies. They can create convincing illusions, even make it so you can see, hear, smell or feel them, but they are most powerful when they have a host body. A Carnis can use any living creature for a host, but they generally avoid Immortalis due to many of them having strong Willpower. However, a young Immortalis would make a fitting host. They can also possess humans and animals.
When their host bodies get destroyed, Carnis just move on to new hosts. They can change bodies at will, as long as the host has no means to expel them.

Bayard Cael

Bayard Cael

Hair: black
Eyes: piercing blue
Armor: Ebony platemail
Weapon: Spear, longsword

Bayard Cael is the leader of the Otaktay ("they who kill many"), or as they call themselves, the Defenders of Humanity. Bayard is the descendent of Ulises Cael. His family has pledged themselves to the destruction of all Immortalis, Ageless and Forsaken alike. Because Immortalis cannot be killed by mortals, the Otaktay have devised ways to capture and incapacitate them.
