Title: New look for the forum

Everything is too big, and too bright, and there's all these new icons and pictures and transperencies and things.  It's like those new-fangled twatters and blogospheres and facenovels and things.  Where am I?  Where are my glasses?  And get the hell off my lawn!





Actually, pretty cool.  Got a bit of a surprise seeing my avatar near the top.  What's with that 'Simple Machines Forum' thing on the right though?

Simple Machines is the name of the forum code we're using. When I find a way to remove that, it'll be gone.

That gray thing we were using before was only meant to ever be a placeholder theme anyway. You can call it the Beta theme, I guess.

Now I need a banner for the top. Hmmmmm.....

Yeah, thats about all I can see.  Although I didn't mind the old lay out it wasn't too hard on the eyes.

I just noticed that you can adjust the size of the boards at the top of the screen where it says 'Small', 'Medium', 'Large'.  I was sitting here scrolling to the right and back to read posts...hehe.


I like the new look, though I do agree that a banner is needed.  :)

Yeah, the variable size feature is a new addition with this layout. makes the boards small and large resolution friendly. :)
