Sigurd “Sig” Glorrack (Legion Immortalis)
« on: September 16, 2010, 12:30:03 PM »
Sigurd “Sig” Glorrack

Age: 300

Hair: Black
Eyes: Gray (the color of stone)
Height: 4’0’’
Body: Stocky and solidly built

Attributes

Strength (Damage)
Weapons Proficiencies: One-Handed Axe/ Shield, Improvised Fighting

Constitution (Fortitude of the All-Father)
-   The child of Alviss is blessed in body. He can endure the greatest of physical hardships and shrug off even the most powerful blows. However, this benefit does not extend to magical attacks.

Intelligence (Knowledge)

Charisma (Intimidation/Persuasion)
-   As demonstrated with his recent interactions with Captain Blood, Sig possesses the uncanny ability to talk sense into even the most stubborn of individuals. After all, no one is more stubborn than a Chosen of Alviss. He can also be fairly intimidating when the need arises.

Wisdom (Spiritual Magic)

1.   Crescendo- (AOE) Sig plays a deep, resonating bass line to create an immense amount of power. This results in all enemies within 10 yards of him being violently thrown backwards. Anyone within melee range takes additional damage due to the sheer force of being caught in this violent expulsion of energy.

2.   Requiem- (Revival) When a party member is rendered unconscious, Sig plays a sorrowful requiem to his fallen companion. The music is so moving, that the doors of death slam shut, and the soul stirs in the incapacitated body. If the companion is mortal, they can literally be brought back from the brink of death. If the companion is Ageless, they are returned to coherency. (Caution: This cannot intervene if a Death Wound is affected.)

3.   Dance- (AOE) Sig plays a rousing song that affects anyone who can hear it. The music stimulates the body into motion, causing those who hear it to drop whatever they are doing and dance. Sig must be able to concentrate to ensure this effect continues. Friendly fire possible.

4.   Striking Ballad- (Single Target) This spell works much like Crescendo, but Sig sacrifices some of the power in favor of being able to get off a physical attack as well. Using his innate bond with Alviss, Sig keeps a single enemy at an arm’s length. He lets out a loud shout, causing the enemy to be knocked off of his feet. (*Instant. No cast time)

5.   Rousing Chorus- (Buff) All physical attacks and spells used by allies directly after rousing chorus is used are slightly more powerful or effective than they normally would be.

6.   Melody of Life- (Single Heal) Heals a wounded party member. This spell effectively stitches a wounded companion back together as if in the care of a skilled surgeon. Bruises heal, wounds mend themselves, and even broken or shattered bones are partially mended, though they would require additional aid to be fixed permanently.

7.   Blissful Hymn- (Party Heal) As long as Sig can play the song uninterrupted, everyone in the party can be healed slightly. Continuous effect. The longer he plays, the greater the effect.

8.   Anthem of Bravery- (Debuff) If Sig is successfully able to play the song for one full post without being interrupted or attacked, all fear effects against the party are dispelled.

Edited my character sheet to include the following new attribute, as originally approved in the OOC thread on 8/26/13:

Charisma (Intimidation/Persuasion)
-   As demonstrated with his recent interactions with Captain Blood, Sig possesses the uncanny ability to talk sense into even the most stubborn of individuals. After all, no one is more stubborn than a Chosen of Alviss. He can also be fairly intimidating when the need arises.
