Name:Jharm (no last name ever revealed)
Race: originally human now Seraph
Age: Uknown
Appearance: Jharm stands at about 6' 5” and heavily built. His hair is jet black and kept cut in a military crew cut style. His eyes appear to be solid gold orbs of light. He wears a suit of finely crafted heavy plate armor the color of pure gold with a helmet that fully obscures his face save for his eyes. On his back are pure white feathered wings, with reinforced plates at the base to help protect from any attacks aimed at grounding him.
Personality: Jharm is usually calm, quiet, peaceful and seems to almost radiate this when he is around others. Some might call him a friend to all. The only time he seems to be slow to accept or even hostile is when demons are involved, being a Seraph and sworn to combat such things this would come as no surprise. It almost seems like when he speaks his voice resonates peace and serenity.
Equipment: Jharm is armored in a suit of finely crafted golden armor that sometimes almost seems to radiate light from within. His weapon of choice is a massive warhammer, the head crafted of pure silver and bearing Seraph runes that seem to glow a soft blue light, the shaft crafted of solid oak and enchanted to be unbreakable.
Story: Jharm was a simple human on a distant planet, its name long lost to the ages. One day Chaos forces attacked the planet, slaughtering all in their path. Jharm and a few others were able to flee. After safely landing, Jharm went his own way, completely devoid of care or hope after watching all he loved get devoured by the forces of Chaos.
One day he was approached by an old man who asked if he could spare some money so he could get something to eat. For some reason Jharm decided to give him what cash he still had. The old man then simply smiled and raised his hand, refusing the money and stating that he would return in a few days. Utterly confused as to what happened Jharm simply pushed it from his mind and went back to his sorrows. A few days later while wandering down an alley he ran into the same old man. Smiling the man told Jharm to “be at peace” and then before his eyes began to transform into what looked like a human wearing gold armor and with feathered wings on his back.
The man then explained he was of a race called the Seraph. Created by 3 benevolent god-like beings referred to as “The Council” to combat the evil of the universe and protect the innocent, he explained that he knew of Jharm's suffering and desired to help him. For his willingness to give all he had to a complete stranger the man explained that he could become one of the Seraph's and join in their mission to safeguard the galaxy.
Realizing that if he accepted he could work to prevent such disasters as what happened to his home planet, Jharm accepted and was taken to the Seraph's world of Kal'rezar and became a Seraph. Over time the Council took notice of him for his resolution in protecting the innocent and battling evil until one day they raised him up to status of Seraphim, leader of the Seraph's. He now travels the universe fighting evil and protecting the weak and the innocent.
Powers: All of Jharms (and subsequently all the Seraph's) are light/holy based and thus usually do more damage against beings of evil such as demons or Chaos. All Seraph's are full trained in the art of healing and shield spells. Some other abilities Jharm has at his disposal are:
Resurrection: Jharm can resurrect the fallen. This ability is not taken lightly and is seldom used. It is also quite draining on the caster and thus should not be used during the thick of battle unless the need is truly there.
Flight: The wings each Seraph bears are for more then show naturally. With them, they can take to the heavens to battle their foes wherever they may flee to. Each Seraph's wings are highly regenerative but it can take time to fully heal (hours to days depending on how severe damage is)
Aura's: Jharm is able to radiate a couple different types of aura's to help his comrade is battle:
Justice: When this aura is active those that are affected find that they
seems to swing harder and aim better
Steadfast: When this aura is active the affected feel a great sense of
calm wash over them, fear is lessened, doubt is removed, the
ability to succeed is felt even in the direst of situations
Cleansing: When this aura is active, the wounds of the affected slowly
heal and poisons and diseases are purged from their bodies.
Neither effect is strong enough to save someone from wounds that
would require direct healing but aids with smaller wounds say minor
gashes, normal bullet wound to non-vital area etc.
