Oooooh, now Faile can fly you around pretty easily, along with the obvious stealthy stuff.  Think you just became one of the fastest travelers.

And it's cool Faidth!  I quite enjoy the interactions and goings-on of other characters as much as my own. :)

Besides, a response the day after is still fast as hell.

@Archdemon Stu: There you go, and I finished it sooner than I expected!

@Starblade: I know you are rather indisposed this weekend, so I had Blood acknowledge Sig, but did not have too much heavy interaction for you this post.

So, do Sembas's skills still work while in shapeshifted form?

Or is he restricted to the natural abilities of the animal that he turns into?

Has anyone read the Redwall series  ;D

I remember the days when I used to have to find an Internet café to keep up with the boards while I'm away. Now I can post from my phone. :D

I should be able to keep up with Sig. I have my laptop and time to post at night. I'll get a reply up tonight before I get too smashed. :p

@Kitharsis: Sembas would not be able to use his abilities while in an animal form. The positive trade-off, is when you eventually acquire more aggressive forms (i.e. dire wolf, bear, etc.) you would have the ability to attack as those animals do. The other benefit is while in this form you will actually be able to understand the speech of all animals (not just Faile.)

It's how I'd want to be remembered. :P

Going to try to throw up a post during a slow spell at work today, don't know if I'll have any opportunities until Sunday otherwise.

Hey guys, I'm really sorry I haven't been posting. I had family come over and yesterday was National Day for Singapore, so I couldn't really take any time to read. I'll get a post up by today (Which would be by most of your mornings)

Fenwick: It's cool, brotha'!

Man, it's strange playing Fjorin, since I'm a borderline alcoholic.  I'm sitting next to a stash of almost 200 bucks worth of booze...

...Okay, scratch "borderline."

One becomes an alcoholic, only after he begins to drink on his own. And as long as Lai is keeping Fjorin company, he is nothing like you!  :P

Sorry my post was so brief. I'm still posting from my phone, and I'm trying to keep Sig from walking over Siron's scene with Blood. I'll be home and back to normal posting tomorrow.

Thanks for your consideration!  :P I was kind of expecting a more spectacular ending, but I suppose smaking a child imortalis streight on the face, was not warranted just yet. Lets see where I get it goes from here!

As a Childer Immortals, Blood really wouldn't take Siron seriously as he is yet untested in battle. It is more to demonstrate how much she can accomplish through something as mundane as stomping her foot. Don't worry ; you'll  get to see Blood break it out eventually. :p

Neeeyaahahahhahaa! While you're all doing all this talking and resting and learning new stuff, I'll have Fenwick put in danger!

I've discussed this with Faidth a few days ago and told some of you over Skype, but I think I'll put it up here for Kitharsis and future players: I'm bringing Fenwick in a darker direction.

The themes I originally based Fenwick around were on Torment, Power, and Uncertanty, among others. It's also why I intentionally constrained and weakened his powers so that they're not at full power.

However, I think younger me was way too excited to be doing something that somewhat resembled a tabletop role playing campaign. As such, Fenwick became a lot more cheerful than initially conceived. Thankfully, we started our return with a death and death is always a good catalyst for angst and drama.

Of course, for archiving purposes, his cheerfulness did happen and he's currently in a relationship with Cleo (Oooooh the possibilities!!). It's just that if you were to re-read now, the writing style and Fenwick's personality would've metamorphosed pretty jarringly between 2011 and 2013. I do apologise for that and am still scratching my head as I struggle to smoothen the transition. However! As Kierkegaard said, we live life forward and only understand backward. We'll see where this goes :)

For all that is good you killed my thunder! :P

I actually felt a twinge of pain there :( But consequences are good and all that jazz

I gave up on making future plans for my characters in these games long ago.  Things often become too fluid to predict. XD

Well, there's Fjorin's post!  Haha, that was INCREDIBLY difficult to roleplay!  I did not see that coming, hope it's good enough and still feels like Fjorin.

That was challenging and fun to write.

I don’t recall any one talking about this, so I am going to ask. What kind of economic system is in place in Avalon? If they use money is there a tab for the Bulwark of Heaven in the tavern or something along those lines?  ::)

It was mentioned long, long ago in one of the posts when we first entered. You're free to take whatever you like without expectation.
