Greetings. 

Emergency maintenance has taken place to update the forum software to close massive vulnerabilities that were threatening account security, as well as to make the site safe to use in modern web browsers. As you can see, this has caused a number of things to revert to default settings, including the forums theme. This was an unexpected issue, and we will be working on restoring or correcting settings, but it will take time and I do not feel that it is necessary to keep the site offline during this process.

All user logins should be the same and all accounts should have the same permissions. No threads were lost during the upgrade process. If you notice anything missing, please contact staff.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We will be working to restore the boards to working order as quickly as possible.

I have made some corrections to the forum, such as restoring the news blurb as well as everyone's avatars. Alas, our old site theme was too old to bring into the new forum software, so I have selected a new one. If you look at the top right corner under the search box, you'll see that you can now select what color you would like the forum to be, as well as if you would like light or dark mode (click the sun icon to change to dark mode, click the moon to change back.)
