Westward - Gambling
« on: October 16, 2013, 01:14:10 AM »
Gambling....a favored past time of many inhabitants of Westward.   Within the confines of the Capital City gambling is strictly regulated but outside in the wastelands of Westward most Prefects allow it generally.  There are many games of chance that people try their luck at in Westward.  The preferred games in Westward are poker, Liars Dice, Six Shoot, and Caravan.  Many taverns and bars across Westward support gambling, reaping profits as bits fly across the table in tune with the sound of clattering dice or the flutter of cards.  Fortunes have been won and lost inside such gambling joints and many have learned to fear getting in deep with the house and not being able to pay their debts.  Located below is a link and/or a brief description of the games commonly found within the Westward universe:

Six Shoot:
A game created (or so it seems) for Westward, the players wager on the chances of the roller getting a six at least twice in six rolls.  (6 dice....six sides...)

NOTE:  While I will allow players to gamble "on their own" so to speak, I request that you do not try to have games where you win thousands of bits.  Most residents of the badlands would only have a few hundred bits to their name.
