Gulgrim spent the last round doing nothing but charge up, and now he's ready to unleash his Super-Orky wrath.

The vision sent to Nethalika is mostly just meant to spook her, it's not dangerous to her other than being terrifying. The real threat is the Right Hand of Gork trying to squeeze her shield and, if it breaks it, her underneath, and the Left Hand of Mork trying to smash the crystals.

Well I had fully intended to get a post up tonight after work but 2nd day of working OT (on top of the regular part of the work day just being rather hectic/stressful) my brain is mush.  My intent is to try tomorrow after work (though in full honesty, likely will be doing at least some OT then too but depends on how some things go at work) and if the neurons arent firing afterwards then might get pushed to thursday (cant do OT that day for RL reasons).

This took me a while - I was quite stumped in how to approach the latest post, as I wasn't expecting things to develop quite so fast.
Soul Reaver's been fishing for answers so he's quite frustrated at Nethalika's disappearance, and he doesn't entirely trust Vee either, but he doesn't see much of an option other than to join her.

My apologies, had intended to get a post up last weekend but tbh kinda procastinated and then last week happened and the results kinda has fucked with my head and still sort of working through it.  My intent it to get a post up in the next day or so.  Good news though is we are drawing close to the end.

Alrighty, here's your chance to possibly ask questions and whatnot.  Like the post noted, all the Companions saw the "flicker" and those with magical type perception (i.e. Blooddrinker) will sense that while there does not seem to be any sort of illusion or anything on the Shaiton or Jharm (ya'll are seeing their actual appearance), there seems to be an odd hint of something akin to illusion present.

Apologies for the wait, but it definitely felt like Gulgrim is best served as the last person to show up in this situation, so that conversation might actually be able to be had at least for a moment before he flips the table.

He's real mad about being denied a fight a couple of times now, so trying to reason with him is sort of out of the window.

The Board Battles were always supposed to be about us making things up as we go along, so Gulgrim busting in is something Veldanya (and us) will just have to deal with.  It's great and in-character.
Thanks for leaving a window for a response too though, as I am curious to see how Venagon responds.

Soul Reaver is trying to figure out how Gulgrim is going to react to the Shation's retreat.
If he goes barrelling straight toward the portal, then all is good and right with the world.
But if it looks like he's going to murderize everyone in the same room as him instead, Soul Reaver will make an attempt to steer him in the right direction.
